Ya’ll have seen a lot of this couple over the past year+. They were engaged, then married, then expecting and now I introduce to you, their cute pie miracle, Jackson James Phillips! It is truly amazing for me to have the opportunity at photographing my clients and friends from the start of their lives together to growing and starting a family of their own. I love the progression and one of the best parts is getting to know people more and gaining friends out of it! I know Jackson probably looks so different now and I can’t wait to photograph him again soon, but just so you can enjoy his wee early moments of just a few weeks old, take a peak at my favs from his session and stay tuned in the future for lots more of this adorable little man! Njoy!
One of my long time friends, Christy & her family, have been showcased on our blog a couple times over the past year, as they have welcomed a new little one into their home! The last time you saw this cutie pie, he was just a wee-one, a newborn of only about a month. Well, now Myles is 7 months old and just a ball of cuteness that is super squeezeable! He is such a mellow tempered baby boy and loves to watch his older brother, Marcus, as he plays and interacts with others. I can’t wait to photograph Myles again for his 1 year portraits in a few months! Here are some of my favs from his recent shoot, Njoy!
Mike and Cecilia are getting married later this month, so before their big day arrives, we met at, once again, Oldtown Sacramento to photograph some Engagement Picture for them! Then we headed down to a park on the other side of Sacramento to finish up with a different scenery. I can tell you one thing about Cecilia, she loves to laugh and smile and Mike makes her do just that. Their connection is obvious and we had a great time working together for these pre-wedding day photos! Stay tuned for their Wedding Blog Post, but for now, here are a bunch of our favs from their Engagement Session!
Say hello to Diego…again! This little munchkin has been showcased on our blog several times in the past and we are excited to share some of our favs with you from his most recent 2 year session! Diego is all boy, very curious, runs around to investigate the area and loves for mommy and daddy to chase after him. Once we got into the session about 15 minutes or so, he knew what to do. His personality came out in a variety of colors and he was having a blast with it! Diego’s 2nd Session was held outside the Train Museum in Oldtown Sacramento. There are great areas around Oldtown to photograph, so I love shooting down there. But for little boys especially, the big train outside the Museum is such a fun backdrop to use! So, without further delay, here are some of our favs from Diegos’ 2 year session. Njoy!
Scott & Carolyn get the honor of being the first Wedding Post on our new blog! We’re excited to be back up and running and especially excited to share images from Scott & Carolyn’s Wedding with you! On a very beautiful day in August, these two love birds tied the knot at a fabulous location in quaint Livermore, CA, called Murrieta’s Well. I’ve never photographed there before, so it was fun to work at a new spot.
We started at the Rose Hotel in Pleasanton, where they were both getting ready, along with their bridal party and families. As far as calm goes…these two were just that, or so it seemed. Scott and Carolyn were just happy, plain and simple, they adore each other and it completely shows. They were both all smiles when we saw them individually, before the Ceremony, at the hotel, so I knew it was going to be a wonderful day!
There were a lot more smiles, laughter and good times that occurred that evening and I can easily say that I just loved working with them both, and I’m honored to have had the opportunity at being a part of their special day! Here are some of my favs from their Event! NJoy!
