{Paige & Connor: Kids Being Kids}

I have photographed these two kiddos in the past, so you might remember them from last year around this time.  Super photogenic, super silly and super just ‘Kids being Kids’.  But what better way to photograph a childs personality than having them just be themselves and do what they do?  That truly is ‘Capturing Real Moments’ I would say!  So, we did the shoot over at their home (sounds funny, like it’s THEIR home, haha!) but anyway, Paige & Connor’s parents have a great backyard and even a great frontyard for portraits, so we utilized it all!  I had a great time working with them and look forward to their annual portrait in the future!

Here are some of my favs from their Session…Njoy!

{Introducing Shane Channing!}

A few years ago, Ben & Janice tied the knot in Livermore at Poppy Ridge Golf Course and I had the wonderful opportunity in photographing their fabulous Event!  I truly enjoyed working with this super sweet couple … one day recently, I happened to log on to Facebook and notice that a post was made just minutes prior to my logon, that introduced Shane Channing into the world!  I always get so excited when I hear a baby is born, as I remember when my son was born, it was such an amazing experience.  Jaxon is almost 3 years old now, so I REALLY know how time fly’s when you have kids!  Knowing this, I immediately sent a message to Ben on Facebook, to congratulate them on their new addition and offer a Complimentary Newborn Session, as I do this for all my past brides!

So, here we are 2+ years past their beautiful Wedding and they’ve welcomed Shane into their world.  I had, yet another wonderful opportunity to photograph this special time in their lives, in capturing newborn photos of Shane and the three of them together when Shane was only 8 days old….my youngest newborn session yet!  We had so much fun with Shane, propping and posing him and boy was he a trooper!  My coworker even stated that it was the most quiet Newborn Session she’s ever experienced with me, haha. I know, I know, you’re dying to see this adorable baby boy, so here are some of my favs from their Session.  Congratulations again Ben & Janice, he’s beautiful!  I look forward to many years of photographing your family!  Njoy!

{Dave & Amber: Engaged}

The weather at a beach in Northern California is always hit or miss right?  I mean, it can be beautiful inland and completely overcast on the coast.  Well, in mid November when I schedule an Engagement Session at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, I expected that we’d have some misty/overcast weather, being that it’s a cold time of year.  However, 2010 has brought us some funky weather and a very late summer, so the weather proved me wrong.  We showed up and it was probably 70 degrees and super sunny at the Ritz!  There were people everywhere on the grounds because the weather was so beautiful … how could you not enjoy it?

So, we roughed thru the bright sun and got some amazing shots of these two love birds!  But, we’re going to do a make up session soon, at a local park location so that we can get some more beautiful shots of Dave and Amber without having them blinded by the sunlight, haha!  Stay tuned for more of Dave & Amber, but for now, check out these fabulous beach shots from their Engagement Session: Part 1. (It was a gorgeous ‘winter’ day that looked like summer, so lets get festive with the music!)

{Noah Faber: 9Mos}

Again, a year is flying by!  I remember back in February of this year when I scheduled Chris & Elise’s Pregnancy Session and here we are, nearing Noah’s 1st year birthday!  But…not quite, I met over at Chris & Elise’s house in Pleasanton to photograph Noah’s 9 Mo Session.  They were very prepared with props and lots of outfits…all the ideas, so fabulous!  So, there was a mix of holidays in here, pumpkins for Halloween/Thanksgiving and also some wrapped gifts for Christmas!  An outfit here, an outfit there and wa-la, we have a fabulous Session for little Noah!  Check out some of my favs here, Njoy!

{The Haselrig Family}

One of my favorite little boys to photograph, Miles!  It was time for an updated family portrait and some pics with the cousins, so I met up with Cinda, Sean and the kids at a park in Roseville.  I feel like I constantly say this, but I couldn’t believe how big Miles got!  I mean really, I just saw him in April for his 1 year session, but geez…he’s already wearing 2T and 3T clothes!  And oh so adorable!!!  Check out Miles and his family!  Njoy!
